Sealtex Universal Non-Stick Latex Bit Wrap Tape started off as a track bandage used in wet conditions for race horses needing protection. Because it sticks to itself and provides cushioning, it is great to wrap bits, curb chains, rawhide nosebands, or any other area of tack that you want to soften up a bit.Sealtex material is completely unaffected by water, without a weave or mesh to become clogged with mud, and absorbs no water whatsoever.To administer, apply allow a 50% overlap when bandaging the horse's leg. Keep tension on the bandage by stretching the roll as the wrap is made, pressing the Sealtex firmly to itself on the overlap. At the completion of the wrap, overlap Sealtex onto itself fully pressing securely on the finished bandage. Sealtex will stick firmly to itself, requiring no additional fasteners.
